Here are the three things from today, a printable guide, my AI term cheat sheet, and a weekly email if you want to keep going.
Get the take-home guideThey cost nothing. Use the AI tool you already have: ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot.
Type a question cold and you get an answer that fits any business in America. Give it your real contract, policy or numbers first. The answer stops being generic once it's working from your business.
Where the forms are. How you quote a job. What to do when a customer calls at 4:30 on a Friday. You know that answer cold, so you'll catch it when the tool gets something wrong.
Hours. Dollars. How many times a week. Write it down now, while you're still annoyed about it. Otherwise, six months from now you'll have no idea whether anything improved.
Two pages: the three things, prompts you can copy tonight, and a worksheet for the thing you explain over and over. Plus my AI term cheat sheet: the acronyms you keep hearing, like LLM, RAG and MCP, in plain English.
That's what I do. I sit down with one owner and one problem they want solved. In 30 minutes, I'll tell you straight where AI fits and where it doesn't.
